Great info and details! It really is a shame to see him go downhill, but nice to know he still has his good days.

One other thing about Gordie- at least when I saw him, when he's having a good day, he's still himself. He's talking much more softly now, so it's actually hard to hear him. But the disease hasn't entirely taken his spirit, that's for sure. He's my favorite autograph of all time. I've never met someone of such a grand stature in his game who was so darn...humble. You don't see that anymore, particularly in an era when every two bit defenseman or crappy relief pitcher thinks they are god's gift to mankind. Gordie is one of a kind.

Yep. Received a RTS today. "Refused" May be safe to say to not bother sending any more requests to the Ohio address. If I had to guess, the autos were real and then the family got tons of requests to the Ohio address and it was too much.

It's pretty safe to say that Gordie Howe's TTM or IP signing days are probably behind him now:

I hope Gordie pulls through this, he isn't one to give up without a fight (and a goal and assist).

Damn, that's sad to hear. Seems like his TTMs may have been legit as he was doing well until recently when he had the sudden stroke. Let's hope he has a speedy recovery and can get back to his exercising again.

I'd say that Gordie's signing days are likely over. The stroke affected his right side. While rehab could always be successful, his son, Murray (a Doctor) makes the statement in the article "keep him comfortable until the end". That doesn't sound like a rehab situation. It sounds like they expect that end is pretty close. Very sad- but this part of life comes for everyone- even legends.
