    Buying boxes on the net

I'm just curious if anybody buys their boxes on the net (ebay, naxcom, etc.), and if so, if they have had good luck with it. The boxes at the card shop are a little more here but I've had some good pulls and I get great service, so it's worth it to me. But for older boxes, I was wondering where may be the best place to find deals....you know, so I don't have to pay a hundred dollars for a box of cards that might go on Ebay for like $7.50. :black:

I bought a box of Topps 2002 off ebay last year and pulled a $120 Duke Snider autograph and in another box a 1960 Whitey Ford. I don't really buy older boxes though. There aren't any card shops in my area so all I can do is buy on ebay. I don't really like buying at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. for obvious reasons.
Plus they don't sell hobby boxes.

I've bought a ton of stuff from Dave and Adams card world and have always had good pulls. They usually have some older boxes that go for decent prices.

    That's what I do. I've pulled: $800 McGwire auto redemption, $500 V. Guererro signed 8x10 plaque, etc.

Theres no real "better way" of doing it, as long as both boxes are factory sealed. Luck. But what is really funny, I bought a pack of UD Ice off of eBay, just as a b-day present for a friend. It was a dollar plus another buck for shipping, thought it was anice deal and since he collected ice but knew nothing about them....He opens it up, and pullls a Patrick Roy Combos Stick and Jersey card, I $hit my pants! The very next day I order a box of Ice from the same place, have it shipped overnight and everything. As luck would have it, I didnt even get a common jersey card. Thats when I realized I needed to buy some new briefs!
