    1975 Topps

I've been thinking about making a run at this set. Is this a worthwhile set to accomplish? I figure it would be a wonderful set to complete as it is the year of my birth. I know there are some on here who love vintage and I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction. I know that Yount and Brett are the key rookie cards and that Ryan has a high dollar card. What should I look for in doing this set? Any help would be appreciated...

It is a very reasonably priced set if you are going to do it raw and not graded. Highest bv on a card is the Brett at $80. I personally love this set along with the mini counterpart.

I would love a crisp, clean set from 1972 Topps. That's a nice set!

The 1975 Topps is a great set, as John said, most of the cards in raw form are not terribly expensive. But, it is very condition sensitive. Not like the '71 set (black borders), but in my estimation, pretty close. Recent shows I've been to have had most of the good quality raw Brett and Yount cards picked over by other dealers who are grading them. So, you might want to collect a set in Ex-Mt or so, if you want them easy to find...
