    Hobby Box Question!!

Alright guys, I found a new job where I'll be making pretty good money and have some to spend on hobby boxes every once in a while. I'm only looking to spend $100 at the most. My friend and I may split a box every once in a while and want to be guaranteed 2 GU or autos a box so we each get one. But what is the best box to buy for my first box? The only boxes I have ever bought were $20 boxes from K-Mart or Wal-Mart. Thank guys, I know I'll get a good response.

My favorite boxes Are (in order)

    1. Sweet Spot (great for autos)
    2. Leaf Certified Materials (a bunch of hits)
    3. Leaf R and S Longevity (rc's and good hits)

Also Gridiron gear will get you some good hits but they aren't worth as much

If you just want retail then I would go with Donruss Leaf RC's and Stars

    I bought a box for $10

I got a Byron Leftwich Great American Heroes GU/150
    Cedric Killings True Green Inserts/100
    Alex Smith Slideshow RC/1250

I also got a bunch of RC's and I like the look of the base!

Lots of stuff for under 100

You can get a lot of Hobby FB for under 100

Go online to charmcitycards.com or one of the other sites. You can even pre-order 06 Donruss Threads and Classics for high eighties, low nineties.

Press Pass is going for around 77 with the four autos
Donruse Elite jumped up recently to over 100 (I feel good about getting a box a few weeks back at 80) only two rookies and two GU/Autos though
Playoff Prestige is nice product and will only run you about 65 online - lots of rookies
Topps Draft Picks and Prospcts is a lot nicer than I thought and is only about 50 bucks for hobby online and that should get you 2 GU
Also, Fleer Ultra 06 came back with the Lucky 13 Rookies (overall rookies are 1:4 packs) but they book really well. That box is only about 50 online as well. You can get a lot of football stuff online under 100.
