New to forum - Collection advice

First off, hello to everyone here, was reading yesterday while unable to post =)

I collected cards when I was younger for a few years, I stopped probably 6-8 years ago, so I have mostly late 80's-late 90's cards, few early/mid 80's, few early 00's.

I'm not sure if I want to keep, add to, sell.

Is there a best way to organize these? For the most part they are in binders.

Currently I am in the process of organizing them by team.

I don't think I have anything too amazing or worthwhile, but maybe as a group it's 'something'.

I estimate I have ~500-1000+ cards of each team, so that's a pretty decent number.

Quick overview of what I may have: (estimates)
Hundreds of each 90's star.
Like 250+ jordan + '99 60 card set thing
200+ Shaq - 150+ on magic rest on lakers
22-23karat gold under 10k numbered Jordan and Anfernee cards
No notable autographs except some Chauny Billups card, othella harington, danny manning, john wallace, etc crap.

Not sure if I would organize it, then sell by team, one big lot or just store it away again, not sure.

If you wanna trade please just make a list and hop on over to the trade forum.I would say if you were looking to sell, find info on what you have and start at about 15-25% BV. As a player collector, I have most of my cards in year and Player stacks.But also have a few sets I like and try to complete.Who or what do plan on collecting,if anything?

I don't have any current plans of collecting anything specific.

Back when I collected, it was everyone/everything.

So right this moment, going to the trade forum does me no good - plus I have no idea what the new cards are =)

Any card value you can find at beckett.com.Go there and create a new free account then use the my collection tool,log in and add to your collection and you will get a total bv on anything..
Sounds like me ,I used to save em all.Then the guys that traded here locally moved or quit,and I just got back into trading when I found this place.I made up my mind to collect Shaq the year I lost money on LSU because he was hurt,lol.And I love the fact that he is who he is and remains humble,and greatfull.

Maybe if you tried to collect a certain Player,set,card,you could start a good collection that way or just trade for what appeals to you no matter who it is.Either way PM me here anytime on any and all Shaq you would like to trade for any card I own.Welcome and have fun.

Ok, thanks a lot, I'll have a better idea on what I have for specifics in numbers of the stars / teams, and easier to see what I have soon.

I don't know what star company is - if that is a newer card - I don't have newer cards.

As for bulls I have 800+ Bulls Cards

250+ Jordan -- 3 Baseball ones
150+ Pippen
35+ Rodman
80+ Grant
Few Elton Brands
Few Ron Artests
Couple Ron Mercers
Various Cards of rest of bulls, kerr/kukoc/harper/armstrong etc etc

star company is the company that made jordans first rookie card, the general star cards look like the link below but can vary depending on the set and year, but most look like the jordan below. PLMK if you have any of those, Thanks Alex
