I know that was the quote but it was a follow up to his other response. Neither of which made any sense. At least when I quote people (you included), my comment relates to what I am quoting. His comments make no sense whatsoever.
I invite you to read them in this thread and offer an explanation as to what he was trying to say.

Okay, now that makes sense. And my response of "I'm not talking about today." shows I interpreted what you were trying to say. Then you followed it up with a post that implies it is happening everyday?
That's what threw me. Last big election before this one, Dems won.

Dems have lost 13 seats in the senate and 69 seats in the House. Liberal ideology isn't working obviously.

Now lets hope conservatives don't screw it up or we'll be right back where we were in 2006.

I find it absurd to say left wingers are the only one's who can't debate without insults and accusations. That sort of behavior is not a product of just one side.

My take is it's all cyclical. People think a change in party is really going to change things when it rarely does. Everything has become so divisive that most politicians on either side are willing to actually do their job and work to find reasonable solutions. The sad part is most people in the U.S. feel the same way. It's either blind cheering or blind criticism depending on one's party affiliation. The political climate simply doesn't foster teamwork. It's not a competition and that's really what it's turned into.
