    What to do......

Ok here is my problem I just became interested in starting my own vast collection of football cards after looking at some of my uncle's cards and some of my dad's. I just want to start with the more recent cards like 2005 and up so if i don't like to collect I wouldn't have spent my money on some really expensive older cards. So any suggesti0ons on what to start on buying I have a budget of a little less thean a 100$. Thanks and hope to get some help here.

Do you have a fav. player or team? Many people on here sell things at very reasonable prices. Just make a thread of what/who you are looking for and you get many responses. Ebay is also a great place to get some cheap GU and Auto's. Hope that helps... Good Luck!!

I just started collecting and was in the same position you are in now. I bought a bunch of 05/06 products (all hobby) and got some decent stuff. However, the money i spent so far i could of picked up some a lot of singles off of ebay or here. Boxes are an expensive investment and you will be stuck with a huge amount of base cards.I will continue to buy boxes for the sheer thrill of finding something great but will be picking up mostly singles from now on because i believe it will be cheaper. Hope this helps and good luck!

I thought about having all the base cards but I to like to try to find a nice card every once in a while out of a pack.
