    it's too early to tell

after all, the Jets lost something like 5 of their first 6 with Vinny last year before Pennington was inserted as QB and lead them to playoffs

so, we'll have to wait and see how Vinny does.

the wait is not long -- jets vs redskins this coming thursday

I think the only way Vinny will be successful is if Paul Hackett(Jets offensive coordinator) changes up the offense to suit his needs. Vinny is not very good in the west coast offense and really flourished when he was allowed to go down field more often. His arm is still one of the best in the NFL. I think the Jets will be fine with Vinny and not because i am a Jets fan. I can see them holding their own in a very competitive AFC East.

hmmmm, I am not so sure the Jets will hold their own.

Let's not forget that Vinny lead the Jets to their 1-5 record (or something like that) before he got benched in favor of Chad.

Now, Vinny's a year older, and he's not any more mobile

too early to tell, but the jets wont make it to the playoffs, it would have been hard anyway since pennington lost his favorite and best receiver, coles
