    Unless they are keeping him around to break the all time scoring record or something I don't really see the point. His days of winning a NBA Finals are over because he will need to be paired with others and he plays in the difficult Western Conference. He could probably play until he couldn't walk though.

    I think it depends on how close he is to the scoring record. I could see him hang on until he breaks it and then he retires.
