How 'bout dem Bulls!
Well John Paxson and the Bulls organization proved they were willing to open their pockets to help this team move to the head of the pack and they sure did so by signing Big Ben Wallace from the Pistons.

Deal is supposed to be worth around 60 mil over 4 years
IMO the Bulls are now contenders for the Championship. They have there superstar in Big Ben now, a great backcourt in Hinrich and Deng, and solid frontcourt with Nocioni, Deng, Tyrus Thomas, PJ Brown and Big Ben bringing up the rear. Depth is also solid
I don't see the Pacers as challengers, the Pistons are now a mess, and who's going to help Lebron? Bulls are the most well rounded team in the East and are out to prove that hopefully 06-07 is there "year"
Now that Big Ben is in place, the Bulls are on the verge of trading Chandler for PJ Brown (Bulls desperately need a PF...plus he's in the mold of Antonio Davis, who really helped the bulls tremendously)-

On a one sour note, our mascot, Benny the Bull was up to no good Sunday night-

In any case, the 4th of July is a great day for Bulls and Chicago sports fans to celebrate and have a big smile on their face (as I do now as I'm writing this)
Let's go Bulls!!

The Bulls better win the title in the next two years, because Wade, LeBron, and Dwight Howard are gonna dominate all in a couple years.
This column puts a lot of things in perspective.

Wow. I am shocked by the Ben Wallace announcement. I still won't believe it until he actually signs. As one radio station put it, 'he was the face of the Detroit Pistons organization'. A shocker...and a steal for the Bulls.

Pistons are set to replace Big Ben with Nazr Mohammamed, not exactly the person I had in mind. Im still waiting for Dumars to to do something big.
