Anyone going to the Red Sox Winter Weekend?

I bought two tickets for Saturday to the Red Sox winter weekend January 23-25. They do have an autograph session, so I'm sure it's going to be a lottery because some big Sox players are signing. I'm driving 5 hours north to attend so looking forward to it. I just hope I'm able to get some of the main autos I want. Anyone else going?

I'm considering it though I'm sure the autograph signing will be a huge crapshoot. They have some big names on the list so I expect a couple to cancel last minute and the others to be looong lines but who knows. I might try it since they have a lot of good names and I'm a huge Sox fan myself.

I'm going all 3 days. Keep an eye on the website. They have added and subtracted players already.
From what I understand this is the first year at Foxwoods. Have they done this in the past in Boston?
I fully expect this to be a zoo like atmosphere

I'm not sure if they have done this in Boston before. Yup, I've been watching the website and apparently you will have to register for autographs. They haven't mentioned how that will happen. Also the tickets were capped at 5000, so a ton of people but plenty of opportunities I would think.

I think he registration thing is just to keep tabs on who shows up. I doubt it is required.
In the past at the MLB All-Star FanFest in NY and the Super Bowl Blvd thing last year, they wanted you to register. but, it was not required to get autographs

Not sure if any of you guys bought your tickets yet. But, I just recieved an email for pre-registering for the autographs and the way i understand it is. They will have autograph sessions from 10am to 7pm. If you bought 1 ticket your are only allowed to attend 1 of those sessions. I sent them an email hoping they tell me I misunderstood because I'm not happy with that.
I guess I'll be hanging around the panels and clinics hoping the players will sign

Yup, the process is how you explained it. I was frustrated when I read it this morning. I did sign up for 2 different sessions and ended up buy a couple more in the hopes of getting lucky with some of the bigger names. The only problem is you don't know who is going to show up or what time or who is signing and who is only taking photo ops. Also to maximize my return, I might have my wife go into some of the time slots. It sucks because I can't afford to have her with me because I'm trying to get multiple players.

They released the list of what players are attending the discussion panels. I'm hoping some players will sign before or after those.
