12-13 Panini Classics Auto Variations
hey guys and gals, I have question that I discovered this morning when I was preparing to scan my dups from 12-13 Panini Classics to move on.
I have 2 Andy Bathgate Dups and noticed that 1 is signed in Blue, the other in Black

I can't find anything specifically about this. I have not seen other cards signed in Black Ink. Does anyone have information about this?

Andy's blue pen ran out of ink so he used a black one for the last few...maybe even just the last...one! A 1/1 maybe you have there! :P

From a quick search on E-Bay, it seems like the black auto is more common than the blue one. I just checked and mine is signed in black as well.

out of the 3 I have, 2 are blue and 1 is black... other than the pen dying, no other reason I can find at this point

Neat question. My Bathgate is signed in black but the couple of other random guys I have are all blue.

all of my autos from classics are also blue, meaning that the only real explanation is that his pen died at some point.
Still going to hold on to both for my set
