protesting causes more issues and a police presence will be needed. You have not only paid them for the week but now you pay them some overtime.

So true. People don't understand that.
I think the cops should be the ones protesting. Let people see what it's like without them.

I agree with this 100%. I for one hate some of the laws towards mild marijuana offenders & & other non-violent crimes but we need our peace officers. I think better training in public relations may help but it's just my opinion.

protesting has never done anything,historically violence was the answer thats why they invented voting,dont like your local police? well depending on local law you can vote in a new police chief,vote in new judges,vote in the guy that appoints judges and police chiefs or better yet get yourself voted in

it got them literally hosed on t.v.,it was the person who took the initiative to run for office,get elected to office and then change the laws that got stuff done
sure the squeaky wheel told us something was wrong but it was the mechanic that went in got dirty and fixed the bearing not the one complaining about the noise
they will tell you to be calm and sit back they will fix it,dont listen,dont be a lamb be a lion take initiative
