Bobby Orr rookie
So I'm thinking about tracking down a bobby Orr rookie in 2015. What is considered a good deal on a Orr rookie? I've been looking at previous sales on ebay and it's looking like nothjng much less then a grand. Have u guys seen them go much lower then that? Thanks guys.

I'm going to pull the trigger on one this year and will only buy one in a PSA slab. I would budget 1500 minimum to get one with good eye appeal, there is a great looking 4 on Ebay now for 2K. Under 1K will get you a trimmed or altered card or a card that looks like it went through a blender.

I am by no means an expert, but when the price is too good to be true, and the seller has literally no feedback, I'd be weary of buying. Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

Then I'm guessing people shouldn't sell them for $300....

Yea I messaged him asking if it was 100% authentic true rookie and all he replied back with was a "yes" then I asked to see more pictures and he said that's all he had for pictures. I won't be buying either one. Wouldn't that be something if they turned out to be real. whoops.

Makes me sick.
For the record: I don't have any issue with reprints being sold as reprints. I've got a set of 1979-80 OPC (as an example) that I keep in a binder. I purchased the set missing one card, and it's a card I still want to add to my collection :)
However, I wouldn't put that Gretzky RC into a binder..... so a $1 reprint makes for something really nice to fill out the set, and make it look 'complete'. You could do a lot of framing (with an auto'd 8x10 ??) where a RC reprint would look nice.
Selling one, and not telling the buyer they're getting a reprint? It's fraud.
