Cuba Still Not Releasing 53 Americans

Three weeks after Obama spread his arms wide and welcomed Cuba back in the good graces of our country they still have yet to release the 53 Americans that they agreed to release as part of the deal. Not surprisingly the White House and liberal media have had virtually nothing to say about it.

During a televised address on Dec. 17, Obama said Havana would free the 53 prisoners as part of a deal that included the release of three convicted Cuban spies serving lengthy sentences in the United States. The Cuban government also released 65-year-old American Alan Gross – a move that reportedly cleared the way for a new chapter in the U.S.-Cuba relationship.

But since making the announcement, the U.S. government has shied away from providing details on the status of the prisoners, their names or where they may have been taken.

“I’m surprised by the naiveté and the lack of professionalism by the [Obama] administration,” Jamie Suchlicki, director at the Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies, at the University of Miami, told FoxNews.com. “They should have had a list, and the prisoners should have been released simultaneously. Here’s mine and here’s yours.”

Seems like that would have been a piece to all of this that would have happened rather quickly. I wonder if we have similar prisoners that cuba is wanting released.

1. How is it weak? It is true.
2. I am not a FoxNews watcher. I read the news of numerous sites including CNN, Yahoo and HuffPost and yes, FoxNews.
3. We the people, have a right to know what is going on in backdoor government deals that impact our society.
