Thanks man. It seems like I've seen a bunch of Larkin success recently though so I don't know if you're being sarcastic lol.
Got this today:
war.jpg
Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver (MMA fighter) c/o Jail. Sent him a letter a couple weeks ago and he sent one back. I know some people hate this dude but I've always been a big fan. He's one of the people I first started to like in MMA and he influenced me to start pursuing it myself. It's horrible what he did to Christy Mack but he has some problems and he'll probably be in prison for a while because of it.

Weird. Mail came twice today. It's postmarked the 15th which seems kinda odd also.

311.jpg 311 autos.jpg
311 (band). Got back my album covers signed by all the members and they also sent me 2 packs of stickers/picks. Sent this out like 2 years ago. One of my favorite successes.Last edited by sublime420; 02-06-2015 at 06:02 PM.

Cool 311. I personally cant STAND them, but I do have a legit reason. My best friends would constantly listen to them throughout high school and i began to just go APE over how many times I heard those songs.
Anyway...side story, my buddy was going to ask his longtime girlfriend to marry him about two years ago, and they both loved the band growing up and he thought it'd be cool to some way propose to her incorporating the band somehow. He thought it'd be cool to have him ask her during a concert or maybe backstage with the band playing one of their love songs in the background.
As one of my best friends pretty much my whole life (and the fact I took becoming his best man as some sort of competition) , I decided I was going to make this happen for him some way. I went through about 10 different channels, starting with the forum of the bands official website of all things. I eventually got to their tour manager, who said they'd love to help me out, but they actually get a lot of requests to do similar and the people who do it are usually just looking to get onstage or meet the band and lie about getting married or whatever the reason. By rule, they have to deny all requests on such things. My buddy had to settle for a proposal a little more low key. Seems to be working, they're more than a year into it and going strong.
Fortunately, the tour manager was nice enough to send me a crap ton of merchandise, autographs, vinyls, etc. from the band to help compensate. Was part of a nice wedding gift for the two to say the least.
It's really cool a band like that can be that dedicated to their fans and wanting to make them happy.
