Question On a Error Card
Pretty much snowed in today here in New Jersey,so it gave me some time to go through some of my cards I havn't gone through in a while.
What I found was a Gordie Howe 58-59 Topps card (#8) that has his name spelled Gordy on the front and Gordie on the back..I looked it up in Beckett
and saw that it is a uncirculated error card priced at $400 high...Unfortunatly my card is not in great shape, but im still wondering if a uncirculated error card is more valuable
than a circulated error card....I'm guessing it is,but really don't know much about these....any help would be appreciated...Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how uncirculated that card is, mine says "Gordy" as well, as do the only other 2 I've ever seen in person, as do the three up on eBay right now.
There's one that sold on eBay recently, a PSA1, went for $50 CDN, that kinda blew me away...........

UER stands for UNCORRECTED error card , not uncirculated error card......basically all that means is that there is only one version of the card ...obviously since there is only one version , there is no second version available to have a different in value ....any difference in value would be limited to CONDITION.....
the difference in value occurs when there are two versions , the error and the corrected version.....
