Speared two golf White Whales

So over the past few weeks, I have managed to spear two of the top wishes I had for my collection. The first of which, has a small story (I'll try not to make it too boring).

I got a tip from another site that there was an Anna Nordqvist 1/1 for sale in Japan, and there was a web-link, but it was all in Japanese. So, I contacted SATOKEN here on these boards who is a popular and active member in the hockey boards that resides in Japan. It happened that they did not ship to the US, but that he actually happened to live near them and was planning on visiting the shop the next day! Small world. So he visited the shop, picked up the card, and mailed it over too me. Truly a class act, and I am deeply grateful to him! Finally got it :)









So on to the second piece. I've always wanted one of this player's glove, but she never gave them out after the late 90's. Finding them are like finding a needle in a haystack because there are so few out there, and the newest ones are almost 10 years old. One happened to show up on eBay, and I was nervous about the signature at first, but I found several matches from her autograph in 1995. The seller also had similar pieces from the mid-90's for sale, and knew his facts about the tournament he was a volunteer at. Without further adieu...
