Good question.
I always found that items under 5$ sold better.
Did a quick check of my 2015 sales and found the following:
-76% of my sales were between 0-3$
-So 24% were 5$ and up.
-9% sold in the 5-5.99$ range
As for time, it depends. Many of my 5$+ were bought as of December 2014, with only one going as far back to 2013.Last edited by bballCT; 03-06-2015 at 06:46 PM.

I posted my flip outcome for March (classic flips, not sales from submissions) and I also touch on marketing strategy.

I only recently joined COMC, but from a newcomers prospective to those looking to flip I would say that lowend to me is the way to go. If I am looking to buy something valued at $10+ in my opinion I can find it on eBay cheaper even including shipping costs. The reason to use COMC in the first place is to gather lowend items for sets/player PCs and not have to pay $2 shipping on a $1 card.

Thanks for sharing, interesting point.
I tend to agree that low-ends are more popular from experience, quick easy flips. Where it gets confusing is that I analyzed my history and realized that my biggest margins were on sales $10 and up. It's almost a catch 22 for me as a flipper since I must decide if I want to focus on selling in volume (low-ends) or less with higher impact (mid-high end).
Obviously the ideal is to balance both, but that changes when time for everything else in life gets factored in.
