Day with the Cup inserts: How rare? How Expensive?
Just wondering what others have found, when chasing after these cards.....
How many copies you think are out there? How rare are they really?? I understand they're a "case hit" and they don't fall one-per-case, but are there only 10 of each? 25? 50? Any good estimates?
Are they typically $50 cards? $100?? I realize it depends on the player (to some degree) but what would a Patrice Bergeron have set you back? Justin Williams? Any guesses??

On Day 1, I've gotten $150 for one before... can't remember the player, but it wasn't anyone huge.

Not that rare..about 100 each in hobby and probably 50 in retail so about 150 total.
Couldn't even get $15 for mine..

Its exactly 1 out of 6 hobby cases. Fairly rare compared to most inserts out of Series 2, for example. Sounds like Kuba doesnt know how to sell.

They're definitely rarer than 150 each. When the product is first released they sell for huge money, obviously depending on player.
I recently sold my Shaw for around $20 on auction but I bought it in a lot for less than that so I wasn't too concerned. Shaw has dropped off quite a bit since his first season when Chicago fans were loving him. Plus I really dislike Shaw's playing style lol so I was happy to get rid of it.Master List: Hidden Content

It is every 6 cases...and there are at least 5000+ cases plus all retail...which is huge...
They sell good at first like any s1/S2 but after that it's all pennies...
Even acetate YG's are cheap now...

Sounds like Kuba needs to check Terapeak or sold listings and use better selling tactics. Day with the cup cards sell well and are also tough to pull.

A quick search from 2013-14 sets will show you that 34 of 43 sold under $25....majority under $20...and most in the $15 range..
Sure kane/towes sell for more but that's not the majority of cards...
Day with cup, canvas yg,Poe, basically any ud insert is worthless and given away for free at shows after a few months..

1 out of 6 cases 5000 cases....thats 833 cards...seems rare to me.Is there an exact count of ALL cases including retail out there? I'm sure we can get some sort of ballpark figure.

If there's 833 cards total, they're not all that rare. Only 3 different cards in Series 2....
I pulled a no-name off of Boston (first year they did it). Gregory Campbell, I think. Remember getting like $60 for it, but I could be off (it was a while ago).
Anyway - I ask because the first Ranford showed up on eBay, and seller is asking $250 for it. I refuse to be the guy that complains about the asking price (ask whatever you like) but I'm wondering how likely it is that I'll see 10+ copies float through, and eventually get a seller that's willing to let a low-start bid auction run, and see where the price ends.
Sounds like that should happen. Thanks everyone.
