    Series 2 YGS...

I was just wondering if series two is the same as series one this year....when you see the first yg in a box you already know which other 5 are coming? Bad collation, I beleive its called? So was wondering if series 2 had the same problem? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Hoping they are a little more randomized, have to find out before I try a box.

It was really terrible in Series 1. I would open several boxes and would get multiple doubles of the same card, yet have a real problem finding some other common YGs

This was really bad back in 05/06 and 06/07. Could tell right away which groupings had Crosby / Ovechkin / Malkin.

Ive found tho after those 2 years, they were in groupings of 3s instead of 6s. This was not 100% of the time, something like you would get:

A - always the same, paired with B
B - always the same, paired with A
C or D - both of these fit with the 2 above, and both can go with another grouping

As for the last few years, I havent bought enough Series 1 or 2 boxes to know for sure.

I remember the LCS I worked at getting their 2nd shipment of 05/06 UD1 ..... it was prepaid by quite a few people, including myself and I got 1st dibs. We all went in that night when it arrived, and after we saw the 1st YG in my box in the case I told them the break was over because I had Sid somewhere in my box. No one really caught on and they thought I was full of it ..... but I did help a few of the regulars out with this info and actually got 3 of them Sid YGs

I bought three boxes of series one this year and had the same six yg in each. Was quite disappointing.

To answer the original question: Yes.

I've seen multiple case breaks and box break postings and you can predict the rest of the YG's based off the first one you pull.

Thanks man. That's what I was wondering. One box it is.

Is the 14-15 rookie class that bad or are people just piling on because it is inferior to last years class. I mean Drouin, Johnny, & Ekblad could all be major stars in the NHL.
