Proof? didn't think so. Stop accusing people of things. I bid on like the same 4 or 5 sellers ALL THE TIME since they have the best shipping on items as well. If this person is shilling then eBay will catch it.

You know what I wish for...because there are tons of these posts all the time...that the next "Zero or low feedback" seller that someone "accuses" of something without any definite proof...I hope they are a well respected member of this very site that has just never used eBay before (of which there are a few on this site that I know of) and the "shill" bidders are other people on this site that want to buy from a fellow SCF member. That would be my dream...because that would blow a huge hole in all these theories that someone can make a snap judgement about a seller that they don't even know. If you don't want to bid...that's cool. If you want to say "hey, sure looks like this one buyer bids alot" and let us all make up our own minds...that's cool too. To accuse someone of cheating or lying (and maybe they are,,,I don't know) but to accuse them, and possibly tarnish someone's rep without any proof...that's just sad.

You need to go back and read all the posts. You're missing something.

I really dont think so man. I mean Stuff like this happens alot. I guess if you need to know you could talk to the one that bought um and see if they reply. Also you said you got outbid on one by the one you think is the schiller, how much time was left cuz if it was within the closing minutes I doubt a schiller would up you cuz they risk gettin the card back.

Like I said before it was just something I noticed and thought was funny. I was asking what others thought in the first post. If there was a way to see the auctions that already ended you'd see all the other bids. When I saw that I decided to not bid on the auction I was watching.

Yes, agreed with anaheimnationl. I recent saw that someone had 1 bidder that bid on items. I reported it. What happened is that the person who outbid me. ie the shill bidder, had his bid retracted right before the end of the auction which was the case for most of his auctions. Ebay emailed me within 48 hours saying that the seller had been banned.
Ebay takes this kind of thing VERY seriously. There are legal ramifications to these kind of things, and even though ebay can't tell me what actions were being taken, the person was a well known powerseller and most likely had leagl action taken considering the number of people he had ripped off.
If you report them, all they do is moniter the IP's being logged to the account. If they match, it is an instant ban. You don't tarnish any reputations like asujbl said. Only you and the user know what is going on until it is resolved.
I'd also like to hear asujbl's opinion on shill bidding in particular. I can honestly say that if the person selling in Jeramie's isn't shill bidding, I would be thrown the the floor with shock.
