    New Project: Penmanship

Nice hand-writing has always drawn my attention. I am somewhat jealous of people who have a better signature than my own. I am fascinated by the pen-stroke of signatures or writing in general. I am looking to trade for or buy hard-signed autos of players with a clean, crisp and most importantly beautiful signature. We all know players like Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman, Brian Leetch or my favourite Marty McSorely have very nice autographs. There are a lot of players whose signatures I have never seen. This is where you come in. Please post scans of players who you think have nice signatures and I will let you know if they pique my interest. I recently picked up a Bronco Horvarth card that I think was beautiful which gave me this idea. I unfortunately sold it but now I want to start a new project since I haven't collected a set this year at all.

I would prefer to trade, but I can always buy since I am always selling something. I do not need high-end cards but I need them to be hard-signed. My current Trade-List is a work in progress and I don't have the majority of my higher-end cards listed. I will be gone to Niagara Falls to bet on March Madness for a week but please do not hesitate to post scans here and we can talk turkey when I get back home.

I am really looking forward to see what you all consider beautiful signatures and am looking even more forward to obtaining those cards.

    Thanks,

Can say I've never looked too close at too many guys' signatures, but after reading your post I had a quick look and really the only two that I can even make out a name are Martin Hanzal .....not sure why he signs with just his initial and puts it last? And the other is Larry Robinson which seems to end kinda sloppy compared to the rest.

The hanzal isn't bad at all. I am also looking for consistency so I will take a look at some of his other autos to compare. I am in town until Firday morning so there is a chance we can make a deal before I leave. I will PM you tomorrow and thanks for the effort :)

The Larry Robinson is sloppy but at least you can read it lol. I know he is up there in age but Im quite sure his auto has always looked like that. I mean... looking at autos of players like.. Matt Nieto. Just horrible effort. Still uncertain about Yakupov's signature lol. Not sure if it's good or its a Matt Nieto just... larger and more fluidal lol

Ya thats exactly my thoughts with lots of auto's look at these......you could switch them all around and highly doubt anyone would even look at them twice to realize that they aren't on the right players cards.
