Info on Sealed Miracle on Ice Signature Rookies Commemorative Edition
Ever since I was a little kid, my mother has had a sealed box of Signature Rookies Miracle on Ice commemorative edition cards. Box # 1283 of 1980. I was back at the house and I was going through all my old sports memorabilia and I came across it again. I've always wondered about it. My search has been fruitless so far, though I've only been searching for a day, as which type of cards are actually in this box and what the value is. My search led me here and you guys seem quite knowledgeable :)
I have seen many threads and auctions about the signed edition cards which were limited to 2000, does this box contain signed cards or are they completely different? Or did those only come out of the packs? Does anyone have any idea what the rough value of this is right now? Any other information on this would be great as well.
Thanks a bunch!

Is there a date on the box? The typical set is the 1995 Signature Rookies Miracle on Ice set I think.
EDIT: Maybe not, this link has one of those boxes:

and it appears that they are numbered out of 4,850Last edited by comfortably9numb; 04-05-2015 at 12:31 PM.

I'll take photos, upload them to drop box and share them here when I get the chance. I'm currently in a car. This is a sealed box containing the complete 50 card commemorative set with the date of 1995. It has one of those papers upder the wrap that says 1283 of 1980.

Here is a link to a Dropbox folder with the photos. It should work, if not I'll give it another go.

Doing some research leads me to this conclusion. There are 3 versions of this set.
1. The regular version, which is in the above worthpoint link. Base cards numbered out of 24,000, autos out of 2,000.
- Regular base example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/381214204908
- Regalar auto example: https://www.sportscardforum.com/threa...-Autograph-set
2. Gold Medal Set, base out of 9,999?, autos?
- Base? Auto? http://www.ebay.com/itm/361254788154
- Box: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111589046022
3. Commemorative Edtition, base out of 1,980?, autos?
- base example: www.ebay.com/itm/231379101288
It is possible that neither the Gold Medal Set nor the Commemorative Edition have autos versions.
