08/09 press pass @ 60 per box?
Busted one of these awhile back for 37.95. I am not sure why I am so tempted @ 60.00 per box. Someone please convince me not to pull the trigger other then the fact that I will pull (4) JR Giddens Autographs.

Don't do it. Weak product; probably Press Pass' worst. Designs uninspired; not much hit value.

$60 seems like a lot for an older Press Pass product especially now that they are out of business. The product shouldn't be hot enough to warrant that price in my opinion.

What's the best one can pull from that? Westbrook? Rose? Wouldn't touch it personally.

There are some autos of those guys, Kevin Love, and Candace Parker worth around $50-$100 book that one could potentially pull. I'd be surprised if eBay prices go anywhere near that high for them, though. Folks are also still stuffing retail variety boxes full of this product just to dump it, and again, the design just isn't that great. I think the potential auto pull, and the outstanding rookie class, are what lures people in - but the product is just lousy overall. Press Pass' lamest effort. I remember liking their 2006 product with all the variation autos and some decent parallels, I thought the late nineties stuff was about as good as one could go for college cards, and their Legends set was nice (ironically the same year as the OP's mentioned product), but regular Press Pass 2008 was just blah.

Ok thanks for the advice. Seems to be what my second thoughts were about the product. I guess just rose, love, and westbrook make and (5) autographs make it seem a lot better then it is
