Does anyone know who this auto is?

So, a while back I got this auto on a pack filler from someone. On the back all it said was Red Sox. So, I honestly don't even know that it is a Red Sox player, I just have to go with it. I can't for the life of me determine who it is that signed this. I believe this is right side up, as it lines up with the writing on the back, but I honestly don't know.



The other way doesn't look right to me. Anyone have any idea who this is? I have posted mutiple times on multiple sites, and it is a big unknown who it might be. Noone has been able to help yet. Hopefully this time someone can.

When you say "a while back" what do you mean? A few months, a few years?

I got this maybe 2 years ago. Not sure when the auto was done. Someone sent it to me in a larger lot, and it just said Red Sox on the back.

On Roger McDowell, the first letter looks possible, but what looks like the crossing of a T on the top does not make any sense to me at all. Kind of what I thought the last name started with a T. I honestly haven't a clue. And he never played for the Sox either. Unless of course the person who sent it didn't have a clue either!
