A really great success came in today. 2/2 from Ed Asner. He has a ton of famous roles in TV and movies and He did a lot of voice over work for some of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. He was a bad guy in Captain Planet, he was J Jonah Jameson in Spiderman, he had a couple of roles in Batman the animated series, and he was Cosgrove on Freakazoid. He also was the voice of Master Vrook in my favorite game series Knights of the Old Republic. Unfortunately I couldn't find any good pictures of those characters to send him. He also was Bart Jason in one of my favorite John Wayne movies and I was able to find one of those and send to him:



if you can't really read the inscription it says, "John Wayne will eventually kill me Joe but, what the hell How many people can say that! Many thanks and bet wishes!"

I also sent the customary UP 8x10 lol.

2017 has started off on a good note. I received in 2 successes today!

First success is 2/2 from Actor Adam West. I wasn't old enough to watch Batman during its original run but, I used to watch it all the time in reruns.





the second success is 2/2 from Eagles head Coach Doug Pederson. He also sent a business card signed.

great success in today! 2/2 from former Heisman trophy winner and super bowl MVP Desmond Howard! I sent a picture of him while at Michigan and 1 for the packers in the super bowl. both personalized.

I have a couple of successes I got awhile ago but, January was a rough month for me. I ended up getting the stomach flu for like 2 weeks then I got over and 2 weeks later I got a cold and had that for about a week and a half. These 2 successes came in both when I was sick so I don't remember quiet when they came in.

the first one is 2/2 of former Packers 7th round pick and current Minnesota Viking WR Charles Johnson. both were signed and personalized.



I sent them May 5th 2016 and got them back in January so it was about 8 months.

the 2nd success was 2/2 from Movie and TV star Tom Selleck. I sent 1 picture of him from Blue Bloods and the other picture of him from one of my favorite movies Mr Baseball. I had also asked him if he could sign the Blue Bloods one to my mom because she is a big fan of the show. I got both back the Mr Baseball one signed no inscriptions. On the Blue Bloods one I thought he had signed it to Nina but, after I keep looking at it and the signature on the other photo I think that is just how he signs his T's so he did sign it to my mom.

No successes today but, a couple of purchases came in today. I purchased 3 comics from jayandsilentbob.com and all 3 were signed by Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob. I'm not a comic book collector but, the price they had on them I couldn't pass them up. they are legit signatures but, whether or not Kevin was the person who signed it I don't know.

A success did come in today! I got 2/2 from movie star Val Kilmer! sent Feb 15 2017 and received back today Feb 25 2017. Sent a photo of Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone and 1 of him as Batman in Batman Forever. I did ask for an inscription on the Holliday pic and did not get it. I don't know if this is a secretarial or an actual signatures but, I had let that concern keep me from sending to a couple of people and they have passed on and I missed out so I have decided not to let the concern of autopen or secretarial keep me from sending to people.

another success came in today. 2/2 from Patrick Wayne, movie star and son of John Wayne. I am always happy to see stuff come in signed but, I am kind of disappointed in how one of the signatures came out.

the first one came out pretty decent with just a little smudge on the P

the second one is a perfect signature but, he signed it in blue marker and signed it in one of the darkest spots of the picture so its really hard to see.
