2014 UFC Champions Box Break

Bought my first ever box of UFC cards this past weekend. In the past I've only ever bought complete sets off of ebay and done ttm that way. I splurged though and picked up a box. I actually went in to this box with fairly low expectations, not even really thinking about who I would want. Although secretly I wanted a Rousey or Weidman auto as those are 2 of the big names I dont have yet. But still I know the auto checklist was loaded with less impressive names so I kept expectations to a minimum.

I had gotten over halfway through the box when I had yet to have a single hit. I was starting to be less than impressed when I had my first hit, and was it a big one.

I turned the card over and realized I had just pulled the holy grail of this set. A Ronda Rousey autographed relic. I've had one or two other good hits in the past, but this was the first one where it was a hit of one of my favorite athletes. So I was pretty stoked and did a nice little jig in the middle of the room.

After that I pulled a couple of decent relics. Including an Overeem mat card that looks like it has blood on it. Others have told me it's not but in person it's definitely a foreign substance on the card.

Pulled a Glover Teixeira and a Royce Gracie relic #/25.

With 2 packs left I was hoping to have another autograph in there. Sure enough second to last pack I pull an awesome Chris Weidman autographed base card.

So I pulled autos of the 2 people I wanted most, made this a pretty freaking awesome box! Also set the bar a little high for the future as well lol.
