The only companies that you are basically sol on are the ones that are no longer in business. For example I had just rescently got a redemption card for a Pro Line DC III Decade Draft #DD10. All the cards look great but I will never know what the card for the redemtion I have looks like. hehe. Another one that you need to look out for is Collector's Edge. Sad to see they are no longer around. Not everyone will agree but they had some really nice looking cards. :)
