US Marshall Assaults Man, Cops Show Up And....
do nothing. This is a joke and this is why the public perception that police feel they are above the law is becoming an undeniable truth. This off-duty US Marshall first brandishes his gun during a conflict, then hits this guy in the face with his gun breaking his nose and nasal cavity and knocking out teeth. When the cops arrive they laugh and joke with the off duty US Marshall, then search the victims car and then press no charges against anyone.
Not only should the US Marshall be facing charges for felony assault with a deadly weapon, the cops that shrugged this off and treated the victim like he did something wrong need to face misconduct charges and be suspended. A police officers duty is to serve and protect the citizens, not protect the blue line.
Wanting to explain why she initially honked at them, Akers said she gestured for them to pull into a parking lot. Instead, a female passenger reportedly got out of the car and “started yelling” at Akers.
Donald Akers said the driver then got out of the truck — armed with a gun. The couple said they didn’t know if they were going to be shot or killed.
“He held the gun first, I didn’t know if he was going to shoot us or what. But instead, he hit me right across the nose with it. Broke my nose, my sinus cavities, broke my teeth,” he recalled.
...
The officers allegedly searched the Akers’ vehicle, but not the off-duty U.S. marshal accused of assaulting a man with a firearm. No charges were immediately filed in the case.
The incident is still under investigation, according to police. It will be up to the St. Louis County Counselor to determine if any charges will be filed.

Duane, what it shows is that the Cops know that a U.S Marshall usually has more authority than themsleves so they do nothing to anyone that is powerful or has authority.
You see Duane, everything that is happening in this country in relation to cops vs. citizens.....it is NOT a Black vs. White thing the way the moronic media a begging to push that angle.
It is Authority vs. The poor/powerless
The reason why we see so many bad things happening to blacks is because they are typically more poor than whites....but it's NOT a race thing....it's a power thing, it is an authority thing.
When was the last time you heard a cop beating up a wall street banker? Or a politician?
This story simply does not surprise me.

I couldn't agree more.
This is a falsehood. There is no evidence that "bad things" happen to blacks more often than whites. The difference is the media seizes on it when bad things happen to blacks and ignore it when it happens to whites. If the guy in the article I linked was black you can bet it would have been all over the 6 o'clock news by now and the officers in question would have been suspended pending an investigation. Since it was done to a white guy it is ignored by mainstream media and the investigation will proceed slowly and probably end in nothing being done to the US Marshall.
If he was white, we wouldn't hear about it anyway.
