And when he did, it was majesty on ice. Give me that over David Desharnais any night of the week.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Seriously....??? Better than Lemieux & co??? BWA-HA-HA!!!
There're a reason that WSH has never survived the 2nd round during the Ovie-era...he's a pure non-winner!
Sadly but that's the truth, he may having a great goals statistics but nothing more because he's (and WSH) struggling to win
anything but the individual trophies...no matter how good roster WSH have they just can't win anything in the playoffs.
While teams like CHI or LAK who doesn't even have any pure 80-point player (WSH had 3 80-point players during its prime and yet won nada!) but still they has won 2x SC already during a such short time,
because those're filed by players who're willing to do anything tio win while Ovie and his WSH doesn't (Holtby may be a exception)....
Ovie's numbers at this SC isn't impressive...less than 0.65.p per match and only 5 goals.....considering ny how many goals he did during the regular season, but as usually he's burning all his energy on
those meaningless games and arrives to SC without 100% energy....
He will NEVER win a SC unless he moves to teams with a pure "winning-culture" but the effect may be the opposite so fast when he
arrives to them and is dragging them into a non-winning mentality which Ovie is famous for....

That I can agree to. Time for Desharnais and several other regulars to move on.
Great effort by Ovie today. And as for all the Russians leaving the ice before the anthem, the whole lot of them are a real class act and you can have them.Last edited by piper1; 05-19-2015 at 09:29 AM.

I think that all teams would love to have a guy scoring 25 goals in powerplay!! A lot of team cannot reach 25 goal PP goal with 20 players!
He never won the cup but, how many players never win this trophy?
He not always play for team, but I dont like the word underachieving! Please name me one guy that scored more goals than Ovechkin since his NHL debut....he will reach the 500 goals club in 10-11 NHL seasons!!....next year! 500 goal and maybe 1000 pts! If one guy have a chance to climb to the 3rd rank (NHL history Goals Leaders) its Ovechkin! Just behind Gretzky and Howe, this is not what i call *the more underachieving player* anyways, media is bull hahahaLast edited by RGM81; 05-23-2015 at 03:45 PM. Reason: Watch the language
