Anyone else finding the same OPC Platinum cards always damaged?
So I bought a Henrik Sedin OPC Platinum Traxx, while transferring it to a clean top loader I noticed some creasing on the back... oh well, a couple buck parallel card, no big deal, won't bother bugging the seller about it cause for all I know the Canada Post guy sat on the envelope on the way over, I'll just pick up another one on the 'bay... next copy I purchase, it's both way offcenter/miscut, and also has creasing on the back... hrmph, that's a bit odd, well, could just be a coincidence, so I pick up a third copy today, and yet again, creasing on the back, not as bad as the other two, but all 3 cards have the same problem, lower right hand quarter of the card shows vertical creasing... my Danny Traxx does not have this problem, nor any other Sedin parallel from the whole rainbow.
So question, anyone else out there seeing this on any of their Platinum cards? I'm wondering if it's just a particular area on the sheets they print them on that is susceptible to damage... is there any point contacting UD about this, and if so what's the best route? I'm not a huge stickler for gem mint cards, but hey, I haven't had a rant in a little while so gotta complain about something eh? :)

I've only opened a couple blasters and a few loose packs, not a complete box yet though. I haven't noticed what you've described. I have noticed though, a few of the cards ( maybe 5-6) seem to have rough edges along the top of the card, like they weren't cut smootly.

Man... remind me to pull some Sedin's every now and then :P
Just looked at the OPC Platinum cards that I do have (didn't open any but my cousin did and he has no eBay account) and I haven't seen that problem yet.
If you're bored though, why not contact UD? Scans of all copies you have plus damage and see what you get in return to also cover shipping to them. If you get another creased card you could sue them :P
Okay that may be a bit far-fetched but it's the thought that counts :DMaster List: Hidden Content

Tons of damage to most of the cards...lots of scratches, specs, edges, surface is horrible....corners kind of decent..

Isn't damaged cards more prevalent when the cards are shinier? Or do I have my head in the clouds here?

I made note that there was one card in a pack that I personally opened that had creasing.
From the front, the card looks perfect. You would never know that there was a vertical crease running all the down the back right side. I did buy another one on ebay and it did not have a crease.94 Calle Jarnkrok - Nashville Predators-Retro Base
I find the Platinum cards to be in pretty good shape overall. There are some cards that look like they have specks on the front but they easily wipe off.

You'll really notice the scratches and marks when you scan them.
Also, I've had some that were warped right out of the pack.

Well just for fun I purchased a 4th copy for a couple bucks, and lo and behold I finally got a Henrik card with no creases. Not sure if specific cards are more or less prone to the issue given where they lie on the sheet, but glad to have at least a decent one for the PC finally.

I was just thinking about "integrity". Three times the sellers did not let you know about the creasing!
I know for the card that I have which is creased along the back, I would feel guilty if I did not let another collector know about it because there is no way from a scan of the front of the card that someone would know.

Correct. It is also more prevalent on cards with a dark border like black as well.Selling all my cards here updated as of July------------> Hidden Content
