    Hello, I am a high schooler from New Jersey. I play high school ball, but I wouldn't call myself any good. Baseball is definitely my favorite sport, and my favorite team is the Phillies. I've been collecting cards ever since I was little, as I remember going through my sparse deck of 2005 Topps Baseball over and over again. Most of my cards aren't worth very much, but I enjoy going through them as much as anyone here.

    Obviously, as a minor, it is against PayPal's rules for me to own an account, and I really don't want to make one only to have troubles later on. If anyone has any ideas as to another service that is accepted on here that I could easily add money to by buying a card at a supermarket or something, I'm all ears. But for now, I guess I'm limited to send through the mail trades and browsing.

    I look forward to becoming a part of this community.

    Welcome to SCF Isaac!!! Start out by getting your posts up to 10 so you can get started. As for online payments I don't know of any sites that allow minors to make "business transactions" (as they are called) online. You can still get some nice cards by trading, and I wouldn't worry too much about the buying part. It's very easy to get carried away, and there is just about always another card you can get down the road when you can buy.

    Probably depends on how old you are. You could be anywhere from 14-18 in high school and that age difference is going to make a big deal in what you can do legally.

    Welcome to SCF...even though you're a Phillies fan. Paypal has a student account system where minors can use Paypal as if they were an adult. I've had my student account since I was 12-13 (so I could pay for cards on here) and it has worked great!
