Application For Other Sports SuperCollector: Wrestling Badge
Application for an Other Sports SuperCollector: Wrestling Badge
Thank you for your interest in becoming a SuperCollector!
Here are a list of guidelines and questions that you must answer in order to be considered to be a super collector for the sport of Wrestling.
Each member can only have one Super Collector badge within the Other Sports section.

In addition to the numbers there is a written portion of the application:
Why you think you are a Super Collector?
Why did you start collecting this player?
Please consider your input into these sections. The answers to these questions do receive consideration on applications and do affect the decision-making process.
Some rules and guidelines:
◦ Your collection should have 400 total cards that feature wrestlers, including base cards. This is not a hard-set requirement, but a loose framework for you to assess your collection for a reference.
◦ Meeting all requirements does not necessarily guarantee you Super Collector status, as all applications are considered by the Other Sports Team as a whole before being approved.
◦ Be sure to put considerable effort into the written portion of the application - show us your passion for collecting this player!
◦ You must be a member in good standing.
◦ You must be an active member in the SCF Community.
Collection Guidelines
These are not hard-set requirements, but figure this as a loose framework.
A complete and well-rounded collection featuring strong percentages of each type of card: Auto, RC, Memorabilia
We realize that some player have a larger number of 1/1s - having only a small number of 1/1's in your collection will not hinder your application. We consider the non-1/1 portions first, and look at the 1/1s as a booster.
Odd Ball Items:
Obviously a complete collection generally has many aspects to it, please let us know any memorabilia you may have, or any other relevant items (glasses, key chains, etc). This is not a requirement, but would certainly boost the chances of obtaining the badge.
Aftermath to Applying:
Ultimately, the Other Sports Team will be looking at each submission on a case-by-case basis.
If you are accepted, you must remain active on the site to keep the badge.
If you are declined for an Other Sports Super Collector badge, you can re-apply in 30 days. Take a month to improve your collection and improve your visibility on SCF!Last edited by Greengoblin782; 02-06-2016 at 09:54 PM.

Why you think you are a Super Collector?
i know i am lol. i dont collect anyone else. sting has always been my favorite and a few years back i decided to focus on collecting just his cards. and i have amassed the largest and most complete sting card collection out there. i was even featured in beckett 2 years ago for my collection.
Why did you start collecting this player?
ive always loved sting. from the time i was 4 years old, he became my favorite wrestler. i followed him thru his nwa times and his glory days in wcw. also follwed him in tna, and now hes the only reason im watching wwe. i have so many great memories of him on nitro. i had everything sting growing up. shirts, figures, posters, you name it i had it at one point lol.
my grandpa and my father got me into wrestling when i was a child. and its stuck ever since. i was into cards early on as most kids in the 80s and 90s. so i had tons of baseball cards and such. one day we were all trading with eachother and one of my friends had a about 6 sting cards. i didnt know what to think as i didnt know they made wrestling cards at that point. by the end of the day, i had those cards lol.
its now grown into something crazy. what was once a half full 9 pocket page is now 3 safes full lol.
theres no one else id rather collect and i really have no interest in other cards besides his.

400 cards featuring golfers seems like a brutal requirement for a wrestling badge.

OK, guess I'll try to get one of these but I'm pretty sure I'll get dq'd because I own zero cards of golfers lol.
I collect Bray Wyatt. Been collecting stuff of his since before he even had cardboard. Reason why is simple. He's the best all around wrestler in the WWE and he hasn't even close to his prime. Best promo man, check. Best ring psychologist, check. One of the top workers in the WWE, yes. Roman Reigns owes Bray a huge thank you for making him look so good in their frud. Bray's entire gimmick reminds me of being a kid and getting drawn to wrestling because of all the outlandish gimmicks. His storyline with Taker gave me chills as I thought maybe the WWE were gonna take that to a new level. I remember getting goosebumps when Taker would enter when I was a kid. Just because of the power I thought in my head he possessed. Bray is very talented and will no doubt be World Champion one day.
Here's my collection breakdown. This was at last count. I add stuff all the time.

I've been a wrestling fan since I am 5 or 6 years old. I fell in love instantly with thesport. I was watching every show on tv, and ask my father to rent every video available. I remember clearly the first time my father brought me to a WWF event. Looking back, it was a week show. But for the young wrestling fan I was,it felt like a Wrestlemania.
Over the years I had a few favorite wrestlers : Rick Martel, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Mick Foley, Edge, CM Punk. Then for quite some times I had no favorite to watch and my interest was lost... but earlier this year the flame was ignitated again and I found a new favorite in Asuka.
I soon start to collect wrestling stuff, so collecting wrestling cards was just part of a big collection. But with today's quality of cards, it's just so much fun. Altough I have plenty of base cards that I really like, the real thrill is to put my hands on autograph cards of my favorites superstars.
I consider myself a super collector not only because of the quantity and quality of my collection, but because I've been collection for so many years with passion.
My top 10 cards :
1- 2017 WWE Undisputed autograph bronze Bret Hart /99
2- 2017 WWE Undisputed autograph/relic red Big Show /1
3- 2017 WWE Undisputed autograph bronze Charlotte Flair /99
4- 2010 TNA Tristar OBAK autograph Kurt Angle
5- 2012 Leaf originals autograph Rick Martel
6- 2017 WWE Undisputed autograph/relic bronze Becky Lynch/99
7- 2012 Leaf originals autograph Bobby Heenan
8- 2017 WWE Undisputed autograph Shinsuke Nakamura /199
