Canada Post Slow service.............

I actually came to this forum to complain. I was going to complain in the eBay thread but maybe it's Canada Post.

In the last 4 years I have had only a handful of cases opened claiming the item(s) have not arrived. In the last 3 months I have had 11 cases totalling almost $400 USD. I'm not at all happy.

Oh I wanted to add something... Late April/Early May I shipped 7 Molson Stanley Cup Rings. On 1 Particular day I sent 2 to Quebec and 1 to Ontario. I live in Ontario and the 2 rings I sent to Quebec cost less than the 1 ring I sent to Ontario. I asked why and the lady said parcels are all sent to Quebec first and then shipped out again. This is only when sent from Ontario and Eastern provinces.

Is this new? Is everything re-directed to a sorting facility in Quebec first and the re-distributed?

I have 3 cases opened against me from May 15th alone. 2 in Ontario and 1 in Tennessee. The one in Tennessee is not a hockey card but an SS Totenkopf Honor Ring.

Strangely enough.. the other day I received a message from eBay saying my SS Totenkopf Honor Ring listing was taken down due to Nazi references... nearly 1 month AFTER The listing was sold.

Not sure what is going on these days... some sort of cosmic alignment maybe but the energy surrounding my hobbies is most definitely off to some degree.

Has Canada Post possibly started delivering mail every other day to cut costs?

I noticed that packages to the US are arriving faster than ever, but within Canada, it's taking longer.

Hopefully you ask the person at the counter taking your packages to stamp the date to show people that you are not to blame.

I had my first loss package a couple of weeks ago. It was a larger package and even had the custom print out from the post office for the postage total.

This was delivery to Quebec from Alberta.

And I have noticed that packages coming to me from the US is faster than Eastern Canada.

I'm in Ontario and have been waiting nearly 3 weeks for a package from Sask. This does not sound good.

I went years with no problems but within the past couple of months I have had a couple of trade packages (one to Ontario and one to Quebec) go missing.

Xpresspost is still working well.

1 trade made it here within 3 days from Ontario, and a purchase made its way in from Saskatchewan.

I believe my package ( shipped Xpress as well ) made it there within the specified delivery time.

Havent heard about the packages shipped over the last 2 weeks though.
