Vintage question about checklists
Hi,
Looking for some SCF wisdom.
For older card checklists -
Assuming similar cards ... is it better to have a creased unmarked checklist or a marked checklist?
Looking for opinions. Sorry if the answer appears somewhere else.
Thanks,
\Mark

Value wise, an unmarked checklist would be preferred. Personally I like marked ones, or cards with writing on them because it gives them personality or some history with whoever had once owned them in the past.

Hard for me to say without looking at the card. Depends on the marks, depends on the creases.
I would much rather have the unmarked checklist, with a very light crease.... but if you've got one that's marked and is otherwise near flawless.. compared to an unmarked one with major crease issues.... I dunno?? I would have to see the two to say which one I like better.

Collectors look for unmarked. The only way I am getting unmarked vintage checklists is if I buy new packs. Don't think I have a single checklist from the 80's that I didn't mark, highlight or write on.
