Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that a week ago I was diagnosed with cancer a third time. The cancer that I have been diagnosed with is called spindle cell cancer, of note the previous cancer I fought and won in 2014 was spindle cell cancer as well. My recent diagnosis is why I have been absent for a little while on the boards. The doctors found the new cancerous tumor while doing a routine CT scan. The tumor is in my right pelvis.

The immediate plan is to do 3 sessions of chemotherapy and then do a CT scan to see if the treatment is working. This diagnosis makes me sad in my heart and makes me even more sad that my daughter who is turning 5 will see me sick with extreme pain, be bedridden and have no hair again. My daughter and I do this hobby together, she loves collecting autographs. The last time I was sick, she sat in bed with me stuffed envelopes that are addressed to players. She is one of a kind and such a good girl, I hurt most for her with this new diagnosis.

Just like the previous cancers I have had, I will beat this one too. In the past the members of this board have been very supportive and upbeat with their kind words and messages. This TTM site is like a family and its reasons like this I love our hobby. I plan to update my successes as much as I can as often as I can.

Cancer sucks. You have done it twice, and I'm sure everyone else here knows you can do it a 3rd time. This is becoming one of my favorite threads due to how you and your daughter do this together. Hopefully you can give us an update on your condition every once in awhile with your successes. Good luck with the fight!
