Need help from a shop owner please!!
Just checking to see if theres any shop owners on here that could help me out? Long story short I need to turn in a letter from a business stating what they would pay for my card collection (i don't care what value is put on it as I am not looking to sell it) I need to turn this letter into the state of ND for my daughter Leahs therapy and other aids provided to her from the state (she has special needs check out the link in our sig if your curious) We need to provide the value to our assets and they told us to bring the collection to a pawn shop or card shop dealer, well that would be way more work than I want to deal with, so I am hoping someone on the forums can help me out, my entire collection is listed in my Inventory system here on SCF. I would just need a typed and signed letter stating what my collection would be worth on the secondary market. I am willing to send $10 paypal to you as a gift to cover shipping the letter and your time. Please PM me or post here if you can help me out or have any other questions.
Thanks for your time

Shane, I don't have a shop but have done several appraisals for estate sales, etc. When I do these appraisals, I usually include a spreadsheet and a covering letter explaining the difference between book value and sale value, including timing, venue and market factors/differences. You wouldn't need the spreadsheet but I would be happy to write a letter "To Whom It May Concern" regarding the secondary market of your collection as represented by you. The only trouble is it would basically be a statement from a private collector (me) and not a store, so I don't know if ND would accept it.
PM me if you think I could help you and we'll discuss further.
