Pete Priscos Top 50 Players list~ Bogus~!
http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9469847
My major concerns are::
1) How in the hell does Hines Ward not make the list at all? I would put him in the top 25 any day! The guy does it all, catch, blocks, cuts out of routes, u name it. What a croc!
2) Chad Johnson at #9??? The guy has a load of talent and makes some acrobatic catches, but #9 overall? Are we talking best players in the NFL or players who talk the most trash?
3) Urlacher at #8??? Yes he did overcome some overrated critics, but the Bears defense has been sick the past 2 years, u might wanna thank Lance Briggs/Nathan Vasher/Alex Brown among others for that.
4) Carson Palmer at #5 is a bit of a reach to me. I think he is a future HOFer, but the guy had an average season in 04, dominant in 05, followed by a serious injury moving into 06' Thats equals #5 overall?
5) Shaun Alexander at #20??? How about # 5 at the least, what more does the guy have to do in his friggin career other than a Super Bowl ring?
6) Larry Johnson at #14 is ok, but ahead of Shaun Alexander is a joke, almost insulting
7) Terrell Owens @ 15? In 2004 , he was a stud, but since then -what has he done to warrant this, most associated press releases?
8) Richard Seymour(12) ahead of Pepper(13) and Freeney(16)? This really needs no comments
9) Sean Taylor #26 shouldnt even be on the list, he has the "potential" to be great, but is nothing more than little above average right now
10) Kevin Williams #38? ummm, in 04' the Miinesota D was 28th ranked Defense, last year 21st? and ure telling me they moved up 7 spots because of Kevin Williams? Please~~~
11) How in the hell do u have Stephen Jackson on the list instead of Rudi Johnson, I wanna hear an arguement here!
Finally: Players that SHOULD HAVE MADE THIS LIST:(No particular order)
1. Hines Ward
2. Santana Moss
3. Deion Branch
4. Alge Crumpler
5. Rudi Johnson
6. Rod Smith
7. Roy Williams(Safety)
8. Joey Porter
9. Chris Chambers
10. Tony Richardson
Im sure there are more, but only have 2 minutes here

You cant say Randy isnt the most explosive WR in the NFL. Hes got greats hands, very fast, and an overall great player. Only Problem, is his attitude. As for Kevin Williams, he was a Pro Bowler, and he IS good. Look at his stats, hes not bad at all. Had an off year last year, but thats cuz other players were stepping up. An overall ranking of a Defense doesnt mean they suck.
Agree with the Palmer as well. Not worth a #5 in NFL, he may not even be the same.

I may be wrong, but I cant see Randy Moss ever be as dominant as he was w/the Vikings. I think his best days are behind him.

That May be True, BUT thats only due to the organization. Hes got a good deep thrower QB in Aaron Brooks, and a good up and coming in Andrew Walter. If they toss the ball up to him enough, hell have an easy 1400 + plus yard season.

Reply
Brooks will start 7 games max b4 they bench him, hes garbage, never understood why is it took the Saints so long to dump him.
As for Randy Moss, just seems like he still takes -plays off if the ball isnt thrown to him 12 times a game. As well as the ball should be thrown to him, but it just looks like he doesnt wanna be a Raider
