    Graphing away team at PNC?

I've never gotten autographs from an MLB stadium, and I was wondering if somebody could offer up some tips, such as times, places, etc. I'll be going for the Rockies which will be the away team at PNC Park vs. the Pirates.

I went to cubs pirates game last year and I got like 7 autographs but it all depends on how the Rockies feel

I have no real experience with the stadium or either team you are referencing, but since you have never graphed an MLB stadium period here are some general tips.

If you get in early when the gates open players are likely practicing, either doing sprints and stretches in the outfield or (later on) doing batting practice. If you see them doing sprints and stretches, you can stand by the outfield and call to them when they are done. If batting practice is already going on, your best bet is to stand behind the dugout in the front row by where the dugout steps are. Players will possibly stop on the top step of the dugout and let you toss them baseballs when they complete their practice. This usually concludes around 6:15 for a 7:05 game.

If you are unlucky and don't get who you want there, the last chance of getting someone is the starting offensive players (except for the catcher) will do sprints down the line on the outfield grass starting at around 6:45. They will finish those stretches around the time of the anthem and then some will stop if you are lucky if you call to them. This is usually very crowded depending on where you are.

    Hope this helps,
    Erik

Thanks a ton! I only got one person, Ben Paulsen and he side-paneled me lol. I didn't have any cards of him, and I didn't want to come away empty handed. Thanks for the advice!
