Mail Day! Have been pretty busy lately and nothing coming up on ebay or local shows that I need.
Got a 2005 Gold Ernest Wilford 21/50. Will post pics when photobucket sorts itself out.

Thanks for looking, I hope to get some more scans done on the other color borders soon.
Its really a labor of love. I am not sure if I will ever complete it. Cant remember the last time I traded for anything for it here, and although burbank sportscards has a lot of stuff I can use to fill the sets, they have been unwilling to sell for reasonable prices, even though I have made it clear I would be buying possibly hundreds of singles for this from them.
My thinking is to finish gold first, but i fear by that time, it may be impossible to complete black. Luckily, I have all the Aaron Rodgers RC's, and all the Alex Smith RC's besides black.
But strange occurrences do happen. Within the last 3 years, I have found unopened 2005 wax boxes that I bought, as well as a local seller on ebay who had tons of color borders from 2005 that he was willing to sell for reasonable prices.

Big mailday today. Found someone who opened a few cases of 2005 Turkey red when it came out and bought all the color borders he had. Gonna take a while to get some scans of the individual cards but I will scan the newest additions and update the totals in the first post as soon as I can. I doubt there are any Rodgers or Alex Smith RCs, but I have almost all of those anyway.

Not this time. The black borders were 1 per box and the golds came about 1 per 1.5 boxes, so theyre not the easiest to find.
This one was scouted out through ebay and messaging a seller. There have been 3 or 4 sellers i have tried to work with on ebay. 2 have been willing to make reasonable deals and i bought al they had. I could probably just about complete it all if burbank sportscards was willing to haggle.
Side note: i think its time to start a 2nd set of 2005 red border. Red is easier to put together than base, since the SPs dont carry over to the parallels in these sets.

oddly enough, at the national they were selling cards I needed for $0.50 starting asking price. SMH. no idea what they are thinking, but Im pretty sure all the stuff they were selling there was just collections they bought when they came to town. But I did score some stuff from them that I needed for a few dollars less than they are asking on ebay for the same cards.

I am not adding scans in the thread for all of these but I did upload to the Inventory Manager for posterity.
