The NHL debut of one of the biggest prospects in a decade is less than a month away and both serious and casual hockey card collectors are anxiously awaiting the day when they can open up a box of cards and find Connor McDavid in his Edmonton Oilers jersey. In December, the hype will be taken to another level with the release of 2015-16 Upper Deck Connor McDavid Collection.

With a 25-card base set focusing on some of his major milestones to date such as his gold medal with Team Canada and being selected first overall in 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Upper Deck will also be finishing out the checklist with his first big league game which comes on the road against the St. Louis Blues on October 8. Each set will also contain an oversized (3 1/2″ X 8″) commemorative C-Card.
