Rate Donruss Elite '06
I'm not sure if this set will be booming like SP Auth or the regular high end rookies this year, but I just got two rookies off ebay for around $35 combined.
Dangelo Williams/599
LenDale White/599
I have the beckett with Reggie Bush on the front and it (along with the Ebay sales) have really hyped up the cards this year. Those cards also looked pretty sweet. It's not fair to compare them to last years Elite because this years class has an enourmous buzz around all of them. It was a bit more than I like to spend on single cards on ebay, but what the heck? I think both of those guys (especially DW - being the die hard Panther fan I am) will be stud RBs and have excellent careers in front of them.
And while were on this topic, one could easily make a case for this being the best Draft Class ever for the NFL and more so the trading card industry - I think thats one of the reasons I've decided to get back in the game.

^ Not right now. I need to square up on my EBAY tabs first.
Let me give you a 411 on Shelton too. There was a huge article on him today in the Charlotte Observer about how he is 'ready to go.' Something about him maturing and growing as a pro and person - LMFAO. This dude was in Fox's dog house ALL of last year. He did get injured in the preseason but he would have been back to 100% by week four(he had trouble w/ the playbook and was not developing as expected, Fox put him on the IR as somewhat of a Pro Redshirt). There were also rumors floating around that the Panthers were dissapointed they didnt draft Brandon Jacobs instead(both have similar bodies).
Long story short, Eric Shelton has potential but the Cats did not draft Williams to sit on the bench. He is expected to challange Mr.Glass DeShaun Foster for the starting RB spot. Perhaps you should be looking to sale your Eric Shelton collection instead of DANgelo Williams, b/c it's obvious who has the brighter future.

What Shelton cards do u have? There are a few I would consider. I havent wrote him off completely because he could easily score 12 tds next year and have 300 yards rushing. They have talked about him being a 'goal line back' like brandon jacobs or Stephen Davis last year.

I just recently got back into the game but I have a lot of rookies from baseball, basketball, and football from 1997-2001. I have recently spent around $400 on cards/boxes that I should be recieving soon form ebay in an effort to boost my collection back up.
I dont have any Eric Sheltons but let me know other cards/players you take interest in and maybe we can workin something out. Maybe PM me a price
