Following months of hinting of its return, Leaf Trading Cards is officially giving collectors their take on one of In The Game‘s most enduring premium releases and 2015-16 Leaf In The Game Superlative Hockey will be released in time for the Fall 2015 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo in November.

why is the Gordie Howe sticks not cut according to the space? it looks rushed like they didnt even bother to it properly and since its a 1/1 it kinda looks bad.. other then that it looks solid good vintage hits as usual.

What is it with making cards without a picture of the player? The whole idea is stupid. How much effort does it take to include a small headshot? Dont collect them and never will.

I don't believe it's a matter of effort, it's a matter of license.

If Pavel Bure doesn't want his picture being used by them (i.e. he won't take their money) then they can't use a head shot of him.

Can still put the memorabilia into a card though.

Have enough players like that, and nice memorabilia pieces to use, and make a whole set designed around the patch.... rather than a picture of the player.

not about effort. We would love to secure deals with all players we have memorabilia of, but that isn't possible.
