Hortons cards
I was at a card show on Saturday and they were selling 15/16 Horton inserts, as to be expected.
Above Ice they were asking $4 to $6 each
Platinum Profiles cards $8 to 10 each
Franchise Force cards on average $20 each.
What I am curious about is are these good prices or not?
LMK what you think.
Thanks.

Seems pretty reasonable to me, depending on the players of course. I have seen some of the Price Above the Ice cards go over $10 and his Franchise Force is a pretty popular one too. For guys that are building the sets or just want to get their PC guy, it's a much less expensive proposition than hoping to pull it yourself, even if it's only a $2 per pack purchase.

That seems to be the going rate. Have to think those prices won't last though. There are lots of these cards out there... and as we all finish up our sets, the demand is going to drop.

Which show was this?
I sold all my timmies cards at show for $100..decent lot
Lot of dealers asking way too much for some of the inserts...
The only ones people really want/need is Franchise Force...a bit of profiles
Some people did not want ovie + Roy FF for $20 together....because it's better to spend $200 on packs and still not get them....
Those are "ok" prices for the very top players....wheeler should be like $5 FF
Mind you will see Roy FF on ebay sell for $20 usd + shipping which is like $30 cad....gl getting that in real life.

I agree with you Jim although a lot of trades have happened here so far, but I do notice it's not as busy as it was last week. I think we have whittled our wants down to just needing the rarer Above the Ice, Profiles, and Franchise Force inserts which the latter I'm not even bothering with. With that being said the mad rush out of the gate is now turned into a jog, and hopefully on our next Tim's run we do get some of those cards to trade.
Like you said though there is lots out there. However I do know a lot of people that don't collect cards, but are trying to go for this set. Yikes! the dinged corners, and creased scuffed up beauty's I have seen. Yup not real card collectors they isn't! So we will not see a whole lot unless this turns a bunch of average curious individuals into traders overnight.
One lady I work with had a Carey Price Franchise Force(I also had one.. Traded it so no asky all) She had no clue of it's value until I showed her completed sales on ebay.... Needless to say she didn't refuse when I offered to give her a sleeve, and top loader to keep that safe!Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd
