Are you sure they are still running this program? Last I heard of such program was four years ago, now Kobe and Durant are no longer with Upper Deck which is not indicated on the website.

I'm unsure if it's still up. Just saw it referenced on the web, so I assumed it was still in play.

At the bottom of that website it shows copyright 2008. That was around the time UD gave up the official trading card licence and Kobe and Durant became Panini exclusives. I'd be very surprised if that program is still running today.

If you still wanted to grade the MJ SP Authentic, it may be cheaper to buy one already graded on eBay. I see one graded 9.5 for $19.99 but it now. You could ask the seller of they'd be willing to negotiate on a cheaper price or you could buy it outright.

Wow seven years and still no update. If you do hear anything back from them let us know.

Decided to do some research and found this nice base. Serial numbered to 1988👍

    That's a nice card.

If I went the route of graded MJ cards, should I look at PSA or BGS?

And, should I avoid the company, "Graded Rookies Authenticated" (GRA)?
Are they a more generously grading, third tier grading company?

This eBay guide tells you to avoid GRA, should I:

Really the only grading companies worth anything are PSA, BGS, and SGC. The rest have no value to 99.99% of collectors.

Thanks for that info - I'll make sure to only get from those three if I'm going to buy graded.

By the way, does anyone know how much I should pay for this card?

Or, is there a free online price guide that you all recommend?

No free online price guide that I know of and most don't even price graded cards that you have to pay for

Is there a go-to guide that at least shows the number of cards printed?

No more than $20 for that one.

Stick with Beckett if I were you. They tend to have a nicer case and grades condition more seriously.

Are you asking for a print run or for how many of that specific card has already been graded? For most cards they do not have a print run known especially for older cards. For graded cards I know PSA tells you how many have been graded and what graded they received.
