On the back of a 1948 John Norlander Bowman basketball card, there is an advertisement for a ring and was wondering if someone could help me identify this and possibly show me some examples

I found it in a Toy Ring Price Guide (1996) that I own. Unfortunately my scanner is down, but here's what it says coupled with a terrible black and white photo :

Basketball
1949 (Bowman Gum) (metal base) (gold finish)
Heavy Version $50-$110

The ring does resemble what is advertised but the ball is more recessed instead of protruding from the top of the setting/band.
