I received a TTM back today and I will have to say that out of all my autographs this one is so very special to me part of it because I am retired ARMY
I had asked for a particular book for Christmas and my wife got it for me. I read the book the first week of January. After reading I wished I could send the book to him and have it signed but did not want to get it lost especially if I had the incorrect address so instead I wrote a 2 page letter in which I talked about his book, my father who served during WWII and Korea and my serving. At the end I asked for him if he would to sign the index cards.

The gentlemen I am talking about I have followed on the Discovery and History Channels. His name is Donald Stratton who is 94 and one of 5 living survivors of the USS Arizona. His book All the Gallant Men came out for the 75 anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor 12-7-16 and is the first memoir produced by a Arizona Survivor.

To my surprise I had the correct address and he signed both cards plus also sent a business size card and baseball size card with pictures on it of the Arizona and the Memorial plus pictures of him then and now. My cards are signed with Donald Stratton Survivor USS Arizona 12-7-41

Like I said this one means allot to me personally but also for those of that terrible day

Cards are either Tide or Bowie from last year that I did not complete.
Some are going right to my Orioles collection as they have played for the O's
