Local Show Pickups Today - Personal Mojo.
I went to the local show today and picked up a couple cards. Even found several for my registry which I'm excited about. I managed to find some mint 76 Topps football rc's I needed which is cool too. Nothing anybody else would be stoked about, but I'm happy.
Also picked up this Tom Landry (HOF) 1952 Bowman RC. High book is $400, this one is in Ex condition but a good placeholder til I find a 7.

1952 Bowman Large Leslie Richter. The bowmans, especially the 52 Large, are very tough to find with nice corners, this one has fantastic colors, corners and surface, the centering is the only eye sore.

A terrific looking 61 Topps Henry Jordan. (Fantastic except for the centering again, but great color and corners)

and the last of my registry pickups (I've been looking for a decent one of these for quite some time, so this is my personal MOJO). There is no chipping of the green back at all and aside from one touched corner it's a terrific looking Philly.
1966 Philadelphia Dick Butkus RC High Book is $250, I paid $115 for it. It's a solid 6, maybe a 7 so I actually got this cheaper than I would have paid already holdered.

I also picked up these two guys.
06 Aspire Reggie Bush Auto $150

...and 06 Topps Francisco Liriano Auto

I'm still trying to figure out why that Liriano only books $40. He's as hot as anybody and those topps autos are impossible to pull. Oh well, cool looking card and he plays for my Twins.

It's one guy that brings it in for me. He buys up collections off people and then sends me an email with the years he purchased, then I reply with what I need from it and he brings it in. He doesn't carry any junk at all, everything he has (or at least 90%+ of it) is NM or better. I couldn't believe the 4 1976 rc's I got. They book a combined $6, and I paid $5, but I'll bet 3 of them are a 9 and the other is a borderline 8/9 which if I were to sell them would probably get me in the $110 range. (I won't be selling them anyway)
I"m stoked about the Butkus, it's not an 8 which is my ultimate goal, but it's awfully nice for the price. They usually get well over 115 if they even look gradeable on ebay so I'm happy. It'll be going to PSA on Monday.

Yeah, I like the Landry. Sad thing is I only need him for one set, but getting one is actually a somewhat difficult find and the price was right so what the heck. PSA is getting another submission on Monday from me with the Landry and Butkus in it. Then I have a 100 or so "modern" (1971-Present) submission to do once the $5 special comes back.
Jay-I have a couple vintage Packer RC's if you'd be interested in them. Willie Davis 64 Philly, Lombardi 64 Philly and 78 Lofton all in PSA 6. Since you're my favorite Packer fan I'll offer them to you first. I've upgraded each of them so these are my old ones I don't need any longer.
