I am going to buy a case of this stuff... and put one McDavid in each 200 card bundle of base... and sell them all for $5.... Mwahahahaha! I did this with the Crosby set as well from 05/06 right through 09/10.

I hope this McDavid guy is good, cause he's got a hockey card set with his name on it.
I don't get why they'd number the auto'ed card to 17. If there was ever a prime number that is pretty irrelevant to McDavid, I'd choose that one.

17 was his jersey number with Team Canada, that's about all I got on that one.

It does keep it more scarce than going with his standard #97, though if they went that high a print run for an auto in a $20 boxed set it would almost certainly sell more boxes.

I saw boxes priced $35 and cases $599 at CnC. Seems a bit expensive to me.
